    1 Contract Cleaning
    Most of our business in Era Baru comprise of contract cleaning. We offer to clients on contractual basis (usually 1 year).

    A Daily Cleaning Package
    (Comprising of general cleaning carried out on a daily basis)

    Optional Periodic Cleaning
    (Comprising of scheduled cleaning carried out on a periodic basis e.g. monthly, quarterly or 6 monthly)

    A more detailed description of general cleaning is described below.

    Schedule cleaning of floor is necessary to maintain floor appearance. Floor finishes such as vinyl, terrazzo and marble require regular spray buffing to remove stubborn dirt and/or scuff marks and to restore high luster. When they become dull or faded, the appearance can be restored by strip, seal and polish. Both procedures are programmed so that our clients’ floor look good at all times. Scheduled cleaning also applies to glass cleaning, air cond vents, lights and fixtures cleaning.

    1.1 General Cleaning
    The term refers to any cleaning or service conducted in tenant space, private office or public areas. It denotes routines tasks performed on a daily basis, such as:-

    a. Removal of waste materials from waste paper containers.
    b. Dusting of office furniture, fixtures, ledges etc.
    c. Removal of spillage on floors.
    d. Vacuum clean of carpets.
    e. Sweeping and mopping of floors (sometimes spray buffing of high traffic areas).
    f. Toilet cleaning

    It excludes any form of polishing, carpet shampooing and other “Scheduled” cleaning.


    2 Initial Cleaning
    Initial cleaning is “one-off” cleaning or in a broad sense, any cleaning that is NOT contractual in nature be it cleaning of a new or old premises.

    Some clients require us to perform initial cleaning before commencement of a cleaning contract. Some contract clients who do not include schedule cleaning in their cleaning specifications may from time to time request for initial cleaning to be made (this is usually a polishing job or carpet shampooing). All house cleaning falls under this category, too.

    2.1 General House Cleaning
    This literally means the general cleaning of the entire house and usually comprises of:-

    a. Sweeping and mopping dry of floors and staircases.
    b. Machine scrub kitchen floors and external areas such as patio, garage and wash areas.
    c. Wiping of glass (windows & doors) and grilles.
    d. Wiping of light fittings and fans.
    e. Cleaning of toilets and bathrooms.
    f. Clearing o cobweb.

    Sometimes it includes the wiping of furniture, kitchen cabinets and wardrobes etc. flush clean drains and spot cleaning of litter in compound.

    2.2 External Glass and Wall Cleaning
    Low level external glass and wall is cleaned using normal ladders. High level glass wall cleaning can only be carried out safely using extension ladders, scaffoldings , gondolas, and mobile crane.

    2.3 Upholstery Cleaning
    Upholstery cleaning means the shampooing of car upholstery, sofa chairs and office furniture to remove grime and dirt. Sofas made of only relatively shrink-proof and thick material may be cleaned. For sofas made of light weight cotton or velvet, we recommend that our clients send their sets to furniture dealers or upholsterers for their opinion.
